Engineering meets Artificial Intelligence
I am Nipun Kavinda, a Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Engineer now specialising in Industrial AI and Intelligent Automation. My Engineering foundation gives me something most Software Developers do not have — a deep understanding of Real-world Physical systems, Machinery, and Control Logic.
With a background in Mechanical Engineering (NDES) and currently pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, I work at the intersection of Control Systems, Machine Learning, IoT, and Industrial Automation — building practical, data-driven solutions that connect engineering systems with intelligent technologies.
My goal is to become an Industrial AI Engineer — applying AI, Predictive Analytics, Intelligent Systems, and Automation to help manufacturers, engineering companies, and industrial organisations in Sri Lanka modernise their operations and solve real-world engineering problems.
